“We don’t need babysitting,” Phainon says at the same time, words muffled as Mydei’s hand smashes his head into the ground, resuming their fight now that Ptolemy is distracted. Phainon almost bites down on the dirt by accident.

Fun Facts: Danny's universe is wayyy older than Jason's, and has already run it's course. Danny is actively a little over a few millennia old, and in spirit terms, especially neverborns and concepts, he's a baby. He is not aware himself pre-infant stage, that he ceased being mortal when the portal happened. He's still young in terms of entities like himself, not to mention the only one, so he holds a lot of attachment to the human body he died in.
The other spirits and beings do not understand trauma or anything, they simply believe he's only attached to his human shell purely because he's young as has not yet 'weaned' from it.
Jason is fully aware his son is some kind of cosmic horror entity.
Does he know his baby is older than his universe? No, would that matter if he did? Also no.
Jason is 100% a doting father and cannot comprehend his son ever being in the wrong.
Danny's own personality is the only reason he's not a completely arrogantly spoiled tyrant.
Jason will actively kill at the drop of a hat for his son, and his severely unhealthily overprotective.

The stone room was rather dungeon-like… though maybe it was only meant to house the elite because it was lavishly decorated with a gorgeous chandelier and an ornate mirror positioned in the middle of the room. The windows were barred with wrought iron woven into intricate shapes, and there were patterns carved into the floor that he couldn’t even begin to make sense of.
Maybe Kuroki might have thought it cool if he hadn’t been virtually kidnapped to get there.
Oh, and the floating coffins that were dotted around the room definitely didn’t help.
“Oh god… are we dead?!” Kuroki said, his voice almost jarring against the delicate crackle of green flames from the torches on the walls.
“Well, we were all crammed in that one coffin. I really hope the afterlife isn’t that disorganized,” Enma said. “But I guess that explains the fire demon.”
“Fire demon?!”

Being a librarian was a pretty chill job in my opinion.
