Even though he is not an unorganized person, he simply has no time to dust off his shelves when he is stuck in his twelve-hour shift. The pile of laundry also does not get smaller, nor the dishes.
When Maki picks up his last clean shirt, he gets a sudden stroke of comprehension; it gets more and more serious that he needs help in his house. He is truly reluctant to call his mother for help when he is the boss of his own company. Hiring a maid did indeed cross his mind from the beginning when he moved in, but he is too suspicious towards the idea of letting a stranger in his house when he is away, not to mention letting that person live in the house-staff room.
With that, he wedges himself behind the desk to seek out a serious cleaning company that offers a professional cleaner that is also available to live in his house. He would prefer a guy over a woman...
