Everything was going fine, they were making progress on the Astrophage research, Simon joined the crew after they found him alive somehow. Everything was fine. Two years after the intial invention of Hextech investors are dwindling and money is growing thin, threatening to shut down the project entirely. On top of this the lab is in complete disarray, and is in no condition to present to pontential investors. This leads Viktor to enquire about the vacant lab across the hall from them, if they have a proper place to display their work then surely more investors will come right? Unfortunately his plan is cut short when he discovers that the lab is soon to be taken up as a studio by an aspiring artist from the academy.
