Summary
Ilya had always highly valued the newfound control he had over his own life. Life in Russia was spent under his family’s influence, no action his own. Hockey in the states provided him an escape from Russia and his family as well as an income. He took advantage; dominating on the ice, winning awards, partying and having sex with whoever he wanted.
Shane Hollander made him lose control over himself. It was only a carefully crafted persona and forced distance between them that allowed Ilya to not break his own rules and keep the man for himself.
When his father dies and he’s stuck in Russia again, he lets himself loose it a bit. He calls Shane, then later tries to control the emotions, push them down, with some excellent Russian vodka.
The locals had always said the Russian night would chew you up and spit you back out again if you weren’t careful.

“ - t’sokay,” Rumi tries to assure Zoey, who's frantically hovering, but her words are slurred. “It only scratched me. I wasn’t bit.” Her back aches from where the werewolf had thrown her, but it’s nothing compared to the pain where its claws had ripped into her.
“Why’d you push me out of the way?” Zoey demands, and there is so much pain in her voice that Rumi wants to reach for her, but Rumi’s hand won’t do anything but twitch uselessly at her ruined side.
“Had to…” Rumi feels woozy, like she’s floating on a cloud, but she still manages a weak smile. “You were in danger… s’worth it…”
“Idiot,” Zoey sobs. “You’re such an idiot, Rumi.”
Rumi wants to laugh but it comes out like a cough, the sound thick and wet, as the red spills out past her smile in a rush.
Ryu Rumi was trained to be a Hunter just like her mother before her. Until one night a Hunt goes horribly wrong and Rumi becomes the very thing she had sworn to destroy.

The sheriff watched him for a moment, then he sighed and turned slightly. He reached out to open a cabinet door beside him, and pulled out a shelf. It was on a track, so it rolled out of the cabinet fairly easily, and held a small CCTV. Derek frowned and inched his chair to the side a little bit so he could get a better angle.
He was looking at a teenager, or someone at least young enough to be the same age as Scott. He was sitting on a bed in what looked to be a larger room, the area he was in surrounded by four glass walls, with his legs crossed and head tilted.
He was also staring directly into the camera, as if he knew someone was watching. A creepy smile slowly slid onto the teen’s face, and he held up one hand, wiggling his fingers in a slow, eery wave.
Derek felt his mouth run dry. He didn’t know who this kid was, but he didn’t like him.
“Who is that?” he asked quietly.
“That,” said the sheriff, “is my son.”

He’s proven wrong when a chance encounter flips his life on it’s axis and he stares into fond red eyes for the first time. When those eyes don’t let him go, when they cress at the corners as the voice who said eyes belong to say “mine.” With so much danger it causes him to shiver.
When faced with the fangs that are going to take every last bit of humanity Tommy has left he knows he’s been ignorant, that his world is very much a dangerous place.
Tommy’s forced into a world of monsters and creatures at a young age but only earns a place in it at the ripe age of fifteen. He meets others like him, boys with brown and black and white hair to match. But also meets a man with long pink hair, who dares to steal him away from Wilbur, Eret and Fundy with nothing more then a sharp and toothy grin. All with the promise of being his one and only sire.

Well I read that prompt....and then a little drabble of what if this was a Reylo fic slapped me upside the head and I haven't been able to think of anything else. This was supposed to be a few hundred words. Its now at least 3 chapters. I hope you enjoy.
