Geralt is a desperate man who turned to necrophilia long ago to get the physical comfort he very rarely gets from the living. Usually it causes no issue except his own shame, because corpses don’t usually wake up and complain like this one does.
Bluntly: Geralt is using Jaskier’s corpse to get off and Jaskier comes back to life in the middle. What follows this bizarre, horrible meet cute cannot be described as your typical love story nor perhaps a particularly morally good one.
