In unrestedjade’s “Flowey Is Not a Good Life Coach” the relationships between Papyrus and Flowey is abusive, where Papyrus’ level of violence is being challenged by Flowey. He does this by putting him through repetitive and difficult battles that push him to a point of “life or death”.
In my story I explore what happens after Flowey is defeated. Specifically the toll between Sans and Papyrus, what it means for the both of them, and Papyrus’ journey to healing since I thought the concept in “Flowey is Not a Good Life Coach” was interesting.

A retelling of Dreamtale from the POV of Nightmare with a different magic system and lore. This retelling includes references and characters from Deltarune and Undertale Yellow.
The story contains three acts that cover Nightmare and Dream's adolescence, coming of age, and several years after Nightmare is freshly corrupted. This version of Dreamtale has been tailored more closely to being a traditional Undertale AU, featuring Asgore and Toriel who act as foster parents to the twins.
As they get older, during their teenage years, they start to grow apart. This leads Nightmare to get tangled up in a neighboring kingdom's civil war. Nightmare's mistakes end up costing Dream the next 500 years of his life, as he must go into a deep slumber to keep the balance of life after the World Tree falls.

The Corruption is spreading. With each destroyed AU, Nightmare gains more power. Dream has given up hope that his brother can be saved, and now his only goal is to destroy the Corruption once and for all. For if he doesn't, there won't be a multiverse anymore, and the Corruption could spread to nearby multiverses.
It was thought, since the beginning of the Corruption, that Error was part of it, but Ink discovers that's not the case. The Truce was never broken. But when he goes to find Error, he finds something much worse.
Not everyone fears the Corruption though. Some believe that it's a way to cleanse the multiverse, to make it new. Killer, who serves the Corruption, holds out hope that this new multiverse will be made just for him. That this is all happening because the Corruption favors him. He doesn't know he's just a pawn in a game beyond his comprehension. -
