it’s not as good as the first byers wheeler fic i’ve read but it’s a n emotional turmoil. it’s crazy really. it starts as pure filth that sometimes gets ridiculously hard to read and near the end you’re feeling all sorts of tarnishing things, from sheer exasperation to gut-wrenching anguish. it’s like an open wound, raw, gaping and prone to infection. it’s what two boys in love, who absolutely suck at communicating, would feel and act like in the eighties.
it annoyed me, it hurt me an it made me feel for them, despite me seeing only the firstepisode and season 5 of stranger things, not knowing anything about them besides that
a solid piece. it was worth pushing through embarrassment first nine chapters brought.
