Summary
I’ve always been fascinated by the sea. The mysterious, deadly waves that hold wonders beyond our comprehension. It is one of the reasons I went into my chosen career path, deep-sea fishing. Which is one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. Yet, despite this fact I never thought anything would actually happen. I was on a safe ship with a very skilled crew after all.
Nature doesn’t care about such things, as disaster struck. I didn’t expect to live when I fell into those icy depths, yet somehow I managed to. For once it made me glad I was forced into Girl Scouts as a kid. Though those simple survival skills definitely didn’t prepare me for half of the things I would encounter.

Excerpt: As Fell’s mind wandered further about the skeleton in his arms, his fingers brushed against a lower lumbar vertebra, sending an involuntary shudder through Classic that snapped them both out of their thoughts. Fell’s crimson eye lights drifted from the television to the perfect-in-every-way skeleton beside him. Classic tried to ignore Fell, knowing that if he entertained him, Fell would drag him into a passionate affair that would leave the both of them out of breath and dazed. The thought alone had his cheekbones dusting with a pale blue, which Fell had no doubt noticed by the quirk in his smile that Classic saw out of the corner of his eye. The glint in that gold tooth was hard to miss.

Asriel. Chara thought of him often. They missed him more than they felt most other things, sometimes even more than the anger at its worst. They always listened when Flowey’s name was mentioned, though it was usually in hushed tones by people who thought Frisk couldn’t hear them. There wasn’t much news; no one had seen Flowey since everyone left the Underground, and it wasn’t as though anyone except Frisk knew who he really was. There were rumors, but no one had put the pieces together as far as they knew. He was probably still down there somewhere, biding his time. Frisk seemed hopeful that there would be a way to bring Asriel back someday, and Chara wanted to believe them. They wanted to talk to him again, even just for a moment. Prove to him that they were good, deep down. When Asriel confessed to Frisk that Chara wasn’t a good person, they’d felt the anger surge… then dissipate. Asriel was right. Asriel was always right. But maybe with time, Chara could change.

Summary
