Summary
Aster Desmond was a Timekeeper. His inborn duty was to keep the alpha timeline healthy, and ensure it avoided going down a path of ruin. He also had the power to manipulate just about every facet of the timeline, but with no mentor, he was hopelessly inept and alone.
The boy found a kindred spirit in Evelyn Tyren, a girl who had a similar power. They became close friends.…but that was in the past.
In the present, Aster and Evelyn have been missing for three and four years respectively. And the timeline Aster was meant to protect is unraveling: anomalies are breaking in from other worlds and different points in time, and are causing everything to fall apart. But, in their absence, two new people have taken up their mantle.
Aster’s successor: a cold and calculating masked hunter who dedicates themselves and their team to destroying anomalies, and a bright, bubbly, kindhearted girl (also known as the Star) who hides her imperfections with a power just like Evelyn’s.Unlike the pair that came before, these two are set to become enemies.
