“Who are you supporting?" Albus who watched Kim Dokja walking away from a window that displayed murky water of the lake nearby while leaning against a couch in their common room leant in along with Kim Dokja's friends and other seniors in curiously as Kim Dokja sat on an armchair that unofficially became his. "Isn't it obvious? This traitor of course supports that Gryffindor Prince." A sixth year pureblood girl who overheard their conversation spat.
Kim Dokja disinterestedly glanced at her. "Better him than my own house who uses dirty tricks." He said boredly, taking out his book to read. He ignored the sharp inhales around him as his surroundings became colder than before. A soft chuckle slipped out from Sung Hyunjae's lips but the common room was still filled with silence. His friends and seniors glanced at him but they knew Kim Dokja could handle this all by himself.
"You! You filthy, Muggle-born-!" The pureblood girl shot up, brown locks falling in disarray as she reddened in anger. "At least I didn't commit incest to prolong my ancestry. Ah, no offense, Scorpius, Hyunjae-ssi." Kim Dokja nonchalant said, nodding to his seniors who shrugged. "None taken." Both of them chorused.
The purebloods around him had hardened eyes, clearly hearing his blatant disrespect of their supreme blood. "You Mudblood-" A spell hit a fifth year boy who marched to Kim Dokja, a wand with white hilt was casually waved in the air as the boy was thrown backwards, heading to Han Yoojin and Cale who nonchalantly stepped away to avoid the flying boy who crashed to the wall. "A Mudblood, eh? Yes, I am that. I admit it. Yet, even with your pure blood, none of you can beat me." A cold glint flickered in Kim Dokja's eyes as an insincere smile curved on his face.
The flickering flames in the common room didn't provide any warmth as the second year leant against the armchair, once again opening his book. The whole school thought that Kim Dokja is a pacifist but the Slytherin house knew otherwise.
This Muggle-born with silver tongue and sharp mind is more dangerous and ruthless than Yoo Joonghyuk himself.
———
"Why did you do it?" Kim Dokja's brows twitched. The audacity this guy got! Kim Dokja whirled around, stomping to the boy who propped comfortably on the hospital bed. "What?! You started it first, bastard! Asking nonsensical questions and flicking your Patronus at me-!" "Not that."
Kim Dokja shut his mouth when Yoo Joonghyuk gazed at him with an indecipherable gaze."Why did you kiss me?"
“... Joonghyuk-ah-"
"Why did you reject me?"
Yoo Joonghyuk asked softly. Kim Dokja's brown eyes shook for a moment before he smoothly covered it with a coy grin. He climbed up to the younger boy's bed who stared at him blankly as he straddled the Gryffindor's lap scandalously.
"Why? Do you still like me? Did you perhaps enjoy our little fights here and there? I didn't know you were into that." Kim Dokja snickered as Yoo Joonghyuk stared at him with a cool gaze.
Strong arms shot up, wrapping around his slim waist as Yoo Joonghyuk held him, lips brushing the shell of Kim Dokja's ear who shuddered at the contact. "Let go-!" He tried to unlatch the muscled arms around him but they didn't fall away, merely tightening in response. Fuck, Kim Dokja knew that Yoo Joonghyuk was always physically stronger than him. It was useless to resist against him.
"Do you remember when we learned Patronus charm during our second year? Yours is a fox and mine is a wolf." Yoo Joonghyuk started casually as he looked at Kim Dokja who went stiff in his arms. "The last time you showed me your Patronus is before our third year ends. After that, you never show it to me again." Kim Dokja's brown eyes began to tremble as Yoo Joonghyuk leant in, nose brushing against his own.
"I've been wondering why do you keep on avoiding from conjuring your Patronus." Yoo
Joonghyuk looked down at him, gazing at those quivering brown eyes. A tell-tale of a smile curled on Yoo Joonghyuk's lips as his black eyes glimmered knowingly."It changes, doesn't? A wolf."
Kim Dokja wrenched himself away with a shaky gasp. He had been so careful so how-! His mind was running erratically before realisation slapped him on the face. Could it be...?
