Summary
Set in GlitchyRobo's Human Domestication Guide setting.
Humanity has been invaded by a precursor race of hypercompetent plant dommes called the Affini, and forcibly given paradise in a post-scarcity culture that heavily prioritizes the care for its protectorates, to the point of drugging and mind-controlling them into a blissful reverie if necessary. For almost everyone this is a vast improvement. All that's required is to give up any silly notions that anyone except for the Affini know what's best for everyone; in many cases the poor things clearly don't.
Chloë Sulla, our protagonist, has been running for too long. Clover Fabaceae, Fourth Bloom has plenty of experience with those who can't slow down. When you finally come face-to-face with the thing you've been trying to avoid all this time, do you have the courage to stop?
This story uses emoji to represent the Affini languge, including the names of some characters. If this is distracting or difficult to follow, most instances of this can be converted to English by using the "Hide Creator's Style" button at the top of this page.

Summary
Trish survived Solstice. She survived the prison, the revolution, the long winter, and most important of all, she survived the Affini. So many others were taken, domesticated, made into nothing more than pets for humanity's new overlords, but Trish escaped that fate. Entrusted with a plan to keep the last embers of humanity's freedom alive, she labored for decades to make those plans a reality — but now the past is catching up with her, in more ways than one.
Haven did not choose to be a scion of the hyper-wealthy elite, nor did she choose a father obsessed with his own progeny, and she certainly didn't choose to inherit his genetic legacy. Cast adrift on the tides of time by her father's cryogenic Hail-Mary attempt to evade the Affini, she awakens in a future dominated and defined by the Compact, where the only humans left who remember how things used to be are her now-elderly peers. Having spent her entire life wishing she had the courage to end everything, now she's faced with a new beginning, whether she wants it or not.

Summary
Gregory Forsythe woke up one morning to discover that he had been transformed into a super-hot woman, but this was less immediately pressing than the fact that she was surrounded by enormous plant aliens she had no memory of, but who all seemed to know her — that she had lost time, years of experience, to a tragic accident. Bereft of her own history, she tries to rebuild a sense of who she became while she wasn't looking, and why the person she became made the choices she did.
Jess Lophophora, Third Floret woke up one morning to discover that all her dreams had come true, albeit not how she would have expected them to — that, though she was now a digitized sophont, things had not gone according to her Admin's plan. Rather than a slow-and-steady preservation of continuity, she'd been forked, copied from her original biological brain onto synthetic substrate. She has all the Tillandsia's digital landscape to play with, but she also has an ortet to her ramet, and must find a niche for herself in a world where, technically, she already exists.
Sequel to No Gods, No Masters. It's highly recommended that you read that story first.
