Summary
Part One: Stiles is taken by the Dread Doctors, who plan to turn him into a strange and powerful chimera. Theo, their most successful and loyal chimera, has no problem taking advantage of Stiles when the Doctors kidnap him, but as he does so, it becomes apparent that there might be more to their connection than he realised.
Part Two: Theo and the Dread Doctors come to Beacon Hills, both with their own plans; Theo wants Stiles all to himself, wants him to become a chimera that has true value. The Dread Doctor's motives are shadowy, as ever. But as Theo begins to see more of Stiles, he feels drawn towards him, tendrils of emotion beginning to form. What effect will this have on his plan? Will he come to see Stiles as more than a quick way to get off? And could Stiles ever love Theo, the monster in the dark?
Part Three: The Alpha Chimera returns to Beacon Hills after the shattering loss of Theo to the Skinwalkers, his dreams of a Empire of Chimeras broken around him, Stiles is focused on only two things: getting Theo back, and raining hellfire down on Kira and Scott, who he blames for everything. Itachi blinked several times, lips parted for a shaky exhale that reminded him he had survived, that the world around him was very real, that Sasuke was very real. He quietly echoed the greeting, adding a small bow of his head. They’d spent enough years apart that he didn’t know how to handle Sasuke anymore. They’d both changed, evolved into people they weren’t necessarily proud to be. He had questions, but they died on his lips, inconsequential things that neither of them needed to discuss. He was alive, and he could surmise how his sight had been returned to him. More than likely, Sasuke had somehow exchanged their eyes. Why the boy chose to save him left him confused, mixing well with the fact that he wasn’t as grateful as he should have been. Some men simply wanted to die, and he was one of them.
