Curated Curios (with rec notes in the bookmarks)
All the gems I've found in my time digging through A03. Any length, any fandom, any genre, but no explicit fics. There will be warnings for sexual content.
Each bookmark will have notes abt what I like in the piece, warnings (if applicable), and sometimes a 'vibe'. AKA my description of the piece's tone/aesthetic. Don't be worried if it doesn't make sense!
There are also tags for length and feel. They are:
Short story(0-30k), novella (30k-50k), novel (50k-100K), and Epic (100k+)
Silly (humor/crack), Scary (horror), Soft (fluff), Sharp (angst), Smarp (light angst), and Smooth (narrative)
the last three of those are really badly defined and I'm not quite sure how to explain them. Smooth is, like, 'this is an engaging story' and Sharp is about the emotional impact?? You'll figure it out
Format fuckery is for epistolary fics/anything that plays with its medium
Romance is also tagged. I'm not sure why.
To skip to my faves, check out the 'must read' and 'something else' tags! These are the best of the best. There's about 15 of them, ranging in length, and I love all of them dearly.

adorable, hilarious, and cool with the worldbuilding! The author really goes all in with exploring the nuances of Vulcan culture. If you're a massive whore for arts and crafts as a way of exploring a culture, this fic will GET you. The author also responds to most comments-- I had a lovely convo with them about the Vulcan arts and craft rooms that was really fun, so ask any questions you feel like!
