Yor shifts uncomfortably on the soft bed, moving her legs closer to her, her black dress shifting with her, as Loid (no Twilight she remembers, the one she was supposed to kill tonight. She was supposed to kill her husband tonight. The thought almost made her sick.) comes closer to her, bringing the bandage to her pale arm. His eyes flash up towards her red blood eyes, hesitation and adoration in them.
“This is where I cut you, right?” He asks her gently, voice small. It’s his apology to her, she realizes as she makes a small nod, trying to muster up a smile to show she accepts the apology.
“You got me good,” Yor whispers out, laughing lightly. “No one has been able to get me that badly before.”
