Summary
“You know, my child, that the orphanage cannot continue to support you once you become an adult.” The abbess sighs. “There is one path that is always open to you. You may choose a holy vocation, and take orders. The Sisters of Perpetual Grace will accept you as a postulant if you choose.”
Dick had known to expect this. “Thank you, Reverend Mother,” Dick says respectfully, “but I cannot follow that path.”
The Mother Superior nods. He looks unsurprised. “Then perhaps,” he says, “you would be interested to hear of another opportunity.” From the papers on his desk, the abbess removes a single sheet. “Are you familiar with Captain Wayne?”
Dick accepts a position as governess to eight war-orphans, adopted by millionaire and WW1 flying ace Captain Bruce Wayne. The rest is inevitable.

Summary
Imogen Evans is a 22-year-old registered nurse in Gotham thanks to an accelerated program funded by Wayne Enterprises for a city always in need of more medical staff. Imogen is overworked, stressed, avoiding her past, and recently found out she’s pregnant, but she’s got a roof over her head so that’s something.
Her already rather chaotic life gets turned upside down when Red Hood breaks into the clinic one night, bleeding and concussed and definitely in need of serious medical attention. It’s not long before certain bats and birds well-known in Gotham start showing up. And since Imogen took off Red Hood’s helmet so he could, you know, breathe, she happens to now know that Red Hood is Jason Todd, part of the Wayne family. And when you start comparing Waynes to vigilantes, things add up.
Imogen finds herself being absorbed into the Bat Family when they begin regularly visiting with minor wounds since she stocks lollipops and fun band-aids. Soon she starts spending time at the Wayne Manor, especially after patrols. Also, she and Jason keep circling each other, teasing and sarcastic and drawn together.
tl;dr : The Batfam gets a new medic, and Jason is accidentally falling for said medic.

Summary
The 118 is a close-knit family. It’s not surprising given how much time they spend together: endless hours at the firehouse, barbecues on the weekends, the occasional night at the bar.
They’re a family, yes... but Buck and Eddie don’t have to tell them everything.
They’re allowed their secrets, really, and it’s not… weird. Really, it’s not. It’s just that sometimes the 118 asks too many questions, and sometimes there’s just no good (or clear or logical) way to explain.
Exhibit A: How Buck ended up in Eddie’s bed during a sleepover (and how he’s been sleeping there most nights since).
Or: Buck and Eddie comfort each other with cuddles, hugs, and kisses (platonically—or so they think).
