Summary
When a sparring accident nearly kills Arthur, Merlin reacts without thinking - and exposes his magic before the entire training yard. But the fallout is interrupted by a sorcerer’s attack that rips Merlin’s soul from his body, leaving behind only Emrys: magic incarnate, stripped of warmth and memory. As Camelot reels, Arthur must face not just the politics of magic and the prophecy surrounding him, but his own feelings for the servant who has always stood by his side. Magic has always come at a cost - but Arthur never imagined the price would be Merlin himself.

Merlin finds the power within himself to help heal Arthur at Avalon and he and Arthur are gifted with a second chance to restore magic to Albion together and bring about an age of prosperity and peace. On the journey back to Camelot Arthur and Merlin grow ever closer and Merlin has the time to share everything that he has gone through with Arthur. Summary
"Was there... was there truly a need for you to kiss me, Merlin?"
"You were drowning, Arthur. Believe me, kissing a stubborn, ungrateful royal idiot was not on my itinerary today."One is an Ezaki, a prince searching for the Lake of Avalon to tear down the walls between their worlds. The other is a sorcerer, risking everything to seal the sword forever within its hidden waters.
Beginning in Constantinople, the heart of the Eastern Roman Empire, and stretching deep into the Sassanid Empire to the ancient city of Gundeshapur—this is a journey set in 540 AD, where real historical events interweave with a high-stakes "Enemies to Lovers" romance.
✾
Long ago, as humans and Ezakis faced mutual destruction, their kings knelt before the sacred sword in the Lake of Avalon. A history written in blood was sealed with peace, and the Khazar Era began.
Until Uther Pendragon rose to power and turned that peace to ash. Desperate, humanity turned back to Avalon. The lake's magic raised a colossal, insurmountable wall between the two realms. The magic was never to be broken; the gate, never opened. Yet, on the day the world tore in two, a power was born to change everything—Merlin.

Summary
It had been a year or so now, since the magic ban had been reversed, months since Merlin became Court Sorcerer. And a few more weeks since Merlin's injury.
Arthur had finally given Merlin the Court-Sorcerer chambers he was promised, that just happened to be down the hall from the kings own .
Arthur would insist this was not on purpose, but everyone had seen them around the castle, holding and kissing each others hands, teasing each other as usual but with the addition of grinning at each other.
There had been a shift in their relationship, and it meant they were more protective of each other than usual. If it wasn't terrifying, it would probably be sweet.
But of course this is Camelot, not everything can stay perfect for too long. Destiny would never allow it.

In which: there are flowers, feelings, fantasy, and forgiveness -- although not necessarily in that order.

For as long as Arthur could remember, the importance of tradition had been impressed upon him. So, it was only natural for the prince to assume using Camelot’s oldest would be the perfect way of expressing his intentions. This is, of course, a terrible decision.

Summary
The night before Arthur faces his uncle's wraith, Merlin gives him a sword, a favour, and—unexpectedly—his heart. What begins as comfort before battle becomes something neither can deny: a bond that burns gold in their chests and rewrites the prophecy itself.
But Camelot is no place for love that defies a king's law. When the Questing Beast appears in the Forest Sauvage and Morgana's magic begins to wake, Arthur must choose between the prince Uther demands and the king Albion needs. Between fear and wonder. Between destiny and desire.
Merlin and Arthur were once two sides of the same coin. Now they are becoming something far more dangerous: one heart, one destiny, and a love the land itself has begun to answer.
Canon divergence (mostly). Fast spark, slow-burning consequences. Epic scope, intimate moments, awakened magic, and a love that changes everything.

Summary
After Merlin’s magic is revealed to Arthur when he stops an assasination attempt against the king, he is temporarily sent to Ealdor to await his ruling. The letters they exchange reveal more than just Merlin’s fate at Camelot.
-
It had come easy to Merlin after that, to ask about the execution, to offer his life to Arthur. Come, have it, he thought. It was always yours to take it. You know I would die for you, I would die at your hand just the same. But Arthur had the same agony written over his face when he asked, so it was not his life Arthur intended to take after all, it was a life without having to see him. You will return to Ealdor at dawn and wait for word, he had commanded.
Just this once, he had obeyed.
He tries to shake the crushing weight of this memory off of him, and fails miserably. With his heart beating in his hands, he grabs a piece of parchment, quill, and ink; and starts writing.

Summary
Even as a child Merlin had been opinionated; even as a baby his magic had made no secret of what he desired. It had been terrifying then, alone with a secret that didn’t understand its own danger. But now, in a future where there was no law to make the hammer fall, under the same roof with the very King that had removed it, Hunith was free to watch the chaos her son had always welcomed. Opinionated and stubborn and with no illusion as to what he wanted.
And what he wanted was clearly the arms of one Arthur Pendragon.

“𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘶𝘳, 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬!”
No… he had been in it.
“𝘔𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵?”
He had been in it. He was sure of that.
“𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘢, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦.”
And he had not been alone.
“𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘌𝘮𝘳𝘺𝘴-”
His hand flew up to his neck, almost by instinct. But there was nothing there.
What… what had happened in that hovel?

After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...
