Dazai hadn't much hope or ideas for keeping this child at first, that one being Nakahara Chuuya's child. Any child would be better off without having him as a parent for sure. But hearing Oda's desperate pleas that he had a biological son - and a past connecting him to this Earth for longer - He was shocked.
All the while, little hurt that the man he loved like a brother didn't tell him about these things before. But now seeing Oda's son, and more about his life behind the curtains, he knows that Oda is unequivocally kind to a fault. A saint even. There was no way that he was going to let anyone harm his godson.
So far, Osamu thinks that he's doing a pretty bad job at this 'parenting' thing. But it's been said it takes a village. So maybe it'll take a little longer to get his own feet on the ground once and for all. He finally has something to truly live for and love himself for; family doesn't turn itself on family. Even if Ranpo Edogawa continues to intrigue him.
He can't touch, only look. Or alternatively, Sokoku, Ranpo and Oda have kids and make it everyone's problem. Yet we still love them anyway. Oh and Oda and Ranpo have a kid too, and they're kinda managing but its getting somewhat better.

They were relaxing and the façade of them having that status quo of space not being invade, elbows touching. “I’m guessing by that reaction you haven’t. Lighting in a bottle is a term that – it’s a ‘you can only get that feeling once’. Like well – you’ve never been fond of watching movies. But like, there have been movies made and they say like a director cant make a movie again or a sequel to a film and recreate that same magic they had just for a cash grab.”
“Where are you going with this Vincent?”
He sighs. “Do you think that can apply to love?”
Or despite firstborn son, their divorce, Vox wonders why Alastor left, he never really explained it and now Alastor had no intentions on getting pregnant again but here he was dealing with a pregnancy alone - well not entirely alone he had Husk who didn't know about his first born with Vox. He had no way of telling his previous husband that he had somehow ended up with a child again, their second born. It really wasn't planned like this.
Or what happened with Alastor during those seven years.

Short? Yes. Incomplete? Never.
I'm writing a series of haiku about the Mosaic. These are all standalone but I shall add more like tiles from time to time. So in essence this puzzle will always be complete yet ever creating a new pattern. Hoping to gradually present the beauty of all their lives together. Like shifting tiles I may shift the pictures around too, as I have time. I'm actually being crushed by deadlines rn, sorry for the mess, but I figure They got tired working on the puzzle, too. Yet they loved each day. And we all love it so.

Also, it keeps him as far away from his Mother, who is scheming to marry him off as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, in the Mistwood, the widowed Lady Meryl Mertyns has struggled through a hell of a year. The spring sickness, drought, wildfires, and her husband's cousin stealing her son's birthright. To add insult to injury, a raven from Storm's End says that the Lord Paramount has denied her son's claim. What an arse!

Love at first sight isn’t real. Whatever this not-unattractive stranger was feeling for you when he blurted out a marriage proposal before you even got your name out, it certainly wasn’t love. You—disillusioned, depressed, really only here as a manager because you didn’t have a good enough reason not to be—know better than to trust that. And if, somehow, you’re wrong, and love at first sight does exist and is being aimed at you, of all people, then all this Nishinoya guy has to do is prove it.
It’s easy: he just has to propose to you a thousand times and you’ll believe that he means it. He'll give up within a few weeks, and you'll go back to hiding in plain sight every day.
Until then, you’ve got time to waste. Why not waste it around someone fun?
