    “Pretty much," he lied. Well, it wasn’t really a lie. More like a stretched-out, kinda sorta warped truth. The taffy of truths. Wow. Neal was rubbing off on him.

    He sighed, and it should’ve been a crime for someone to sound as disappointed as he did. “My name's Danny Brooks.”

    Or, there's a kid in the office. Neal is missing. These are definitely two unrelated facts, and Peter totally won't suffer for knowing little to nothing about who Neal was before he was the Neal Caffrey.
