Grace sighs. Rocky got distracted by a lot and it always felt like his mind was going through multiple strands of thought at a time. A puny human brain could never hope to get on his level of sophistication. However, for some reason, the eridian had decided Grace was worth his attention.
(Really, it made Grace feel warm, but he would sooner be caught floating in space then admitting that)
So, now Rocky was looking right at Grace instead of messing with the computer which means Grace would not be getting any form of peace for the next hour. He needs a distraction to get him off his back.
“Do you miss Erid, Rocky?”

After some time on Erid, Grace has all he could need. They've built a biodome for him, figured out how to feed him in a way that's both nutritionally appropriate and tastes nice, and he has his best friend with him. Everything else, he can do without.
That doesn't stop the Eridians from trying to give them to him. A few Eridian robotics engineers design something they think will be able to help him.
