“Geralt," he said quietly. "You don't owe me anything, neither your love or your friendship. If ever I-"
“I already told you,” said Geralt, a little harsher and louder than necessary. “It’s nothing to do with you. I want you. I want this." His voice dropped in volume as he continued. "There's just something wrong with me, Regis.”
Geralt grapples with the abuse he experienced as a young man. Regis is there to guide him through it.

Bill tried to shrug, but his muscles had been rendered too stiff from the cold. “I’ll d-die faster if I c-come up th-t-there.”
The pirate captain laughed. It was a high, cold laugh that brought goosebumps to Bill’s forearms. It didn’t sound quite human.
It turns out there is something worse than getting captured by pirates: getting captured by ghost ship pirates.

And to associate with a witcher, well…” Regis touched the tips of his fingers together. “We live in harmony, and that will not change regardless of who I associate with, but that doesn’t obligate them to like me, nor respect me.”
“What would you need to do to earn their respect?” Geralt pressed. “Denounce humans?”
“With what little information you have provided of these vampires, I expect that is exactly what they would want of me,” said Regis, his voice growing grave. “My word wouldn’t be nearly enough. I would have to provide tangible proof.”
Geralt and Regis have to play the part of Blood Mule and Owner to drive a group of vampires out of Toussaint's outskirts. As one may expect, it's not an especially pleasant experience.

Summary
The source of Geralt’s current troubles came in the form of Yennefer of Vengerberg. The two of them'd had a spat, as they were wont to do, and now Geralt was lying curled in bed with his arms folded over his face, which no doubt bore a pitiful grimace. He would occasionally mutter something under his breath, his voice too quiet to be intelligible. If Jaskier had to guess, he was probably muttering something scathing about sorceresses and their propensity for foul moods.
Geralt and Yennefer have a fight. Jaskier is there to offer comfort - of a sort.

Instead of slamming into the floor, Bill found himself slamming into a chest. Strong arms curled around his torso before he could go plummeting down and it took him a moment to gather his bearings enough to find his feet.
“Jesus, are you alright?” asked the man.
Bill glanced over his shoulder at his saviour, taking in his big brown eyes and neatly combed hair. He had a rather delicate looking face despite being quite muscular.
“Um,” said Bill. He hastily extracted himself from the mans arms. “I should be asking you that.”
Bill decides to start going to the gym. He meets a rather handsome man there.

And that duffel bag… it’s big enough to fit a kid, his mind informed him, and he swallowed hard, sinking deeper into the grass he was hidden within. Maybe he was just being paranoid, but he couldn’t shake the peculiarity of someone with money, and a car, and most likely a home voluntarily entering the Neibolt house. And with a duffel bag no less, as though they had been living in there. Could they have entered on a dare? Perhaps, but they were dressed rather well for someone who would take on such dares, and Bill assumed there would have been friends waiting for him outside had that been the case. Maybe they had inherited the house and wanted to refurbish it? Possible, but considering the state of the place, that didn't seem likely. Whatever he had packed into that duffel bag couldn't be enough to fix the problems the Neibolt house had.
Bill watched him descend the porch steps and head out into the street. As this was the only house on the street, the man didn’t have to worry about being seen exiting the Neibolt house. Not by anyone other than Bill, in any case.
Bill starts following a man by the name of Robert Gray. It does not end well.

Truth be told, Richie was a nuisance. Not a deliberate one, mind you. You see, Bill was really, really fucking attracted to Richie Tozier.

He ended up signing up to a site called camurbate, giving himself the username ‘Billoncam’. Simple and succinct. He put on something loose-fitting and took a photo of himself sitting in bed, which he uploaded to his profile after almost an hour of hesitating. In his description he wrote his age, described himself as a ‘horny twink’ – something he copied from another person’s profile – and asked in the sultriest manner possible that people view his cam shows. With that done, he closed his laptop and started planning his first cam show.
Bill and Richie live in the same dorm room at uni. This wouldn't be an issue, except Bill's putting on cam shows in said dorm room, and he can't let Richie find out.
