Summary
Even so many years after she escaped that cage, Izutsumi still finds herself back there way more often then she would've liked, because her mind insists on making those memories into nightmares to haunt her nights. The only thing that helps is having someone that makes her feel safe by her side, which she thought would be a lot harder now that she's adventuring with a party of people she barely knows, but she ends up finding comfort with Chilchuck, who not only cares a lot more than he lets on, but has more in common with Izutsumi than she thought.

Senshi decides it's time to apologize for his past treatment of Chilchuck, especially his unfortunate attempt at teaching the halffoot about "stamens and pistils" and ends up revealing that he was barely qualified to explain to anyone where babies come from, as he had no experience of his own, so Chilchucks decides it's his turn to teach a lesson. His style of teaching is a lot more practical, however.

Marcille worried. She felt like most of her time was spent worrying. She worried that Fallin would get hurt or fall sick if she kept being so carefree. She worried Namari would drink too much. She worried that Laios would get himself in trouble. She even worried about Shuro once in a blue moon, that he wouldn't get enough food or sleep. She simply couldn't help it, even if she knew that, objectively speaking, they didn't need her concern, they could take care of themselves, choose for themselves, and she couldn't decide what was best for them. She would say she was very lucky too, as most of them either lived healthy, responsible lives or were at least open to help and suggestions.
Well, most of them. It sounded like a cruel joke, that the one who needed her concern the most was also the one least interested in it.
