   Summary

   Simon took a shuddering breath as he continued to stare. Ever since he was young, he had been watching the sky slowly dissolve into dark nothingness, a quiet, unending void that swallowed everything. He watched the tree slowly wither and rot on Eden, knowing that when it died, so too would the rest of the life on the station. One more silent end in the abyss.

   He knew that the last time he would see the stars would be on that boat above the ocean. He had been brought in by the COI in cuffs, and was only able to glance at the stars for a brief moment.

   Yet, somehow, he was alive, and so too were the millions of stars that overwhelmed his vision.

   On their way to Erid, Grace and Rocky encounter a strange object in deep space. inside, was the last son of Eden, cocooned in the saplings embrace.

   Summary

   The Convict is trapped in the stomach of the beast that tormented him, his fight to live drowning with his body. When he awakes, he’s not in the blood ocean, he’s not on AT-5 at all. He’s instead inches away from what has to be either a hallucination or an angel in the flesh.
