Summary
It’s odd how a situation can so drastically shift in a matter of seconds. One moment he’s reaching toward a wailing child, attempting to console them, the next he’s tumbling to the ground, alone in an abandoned street, the sky black above him. After surveying his surroundings, he gets a general idea of where he is, as well as the realization that the child he’d just been with was nowhere to be found and had, most likely, accidentally used their quirk on him. Must be some kind of teleportation quirk too.

In another universe, he chose a different alley to cut through, route undisturbed as he made his way back to the dingy apartment he called home after the exhausting endeavor that was the hero course at UA. In another universe, he would unknowingly pass by the alley which housed the trembling body of a young boy, curled in on himself, unaware of who would eventually find and take in the child, moulding him into the perfect pawn. But that is another universe, not indicative of what occurs in the one he inhabits.
Alternatively, Aizawa Shouta stumbles upon a young Shimura Tenko and takes him in.

Upon first glance, the park seems empty and devoid of any people whatsoever. Shouta walks through slowly, eyes open for anything out of place. It’s as he’s walking to the nearest bin that he sees movement out of the corner of his eye. There, laying on one of the benches deeper into the park, is a kid. A teenager, if the way they take up the whole bench is anything to go by. Shouta is a few feet away when the kid shifts, trying in vain to get their lanky form comfortable on the too-small bench, and the hood they have pulled over their head shifts, ever so slightly, revealing a shock of purple hair.
Or, Aizawa finds Shinsou sleeping in a park after getting locked out of his foster home. Aizawa takes issue with this.
