She didn't even know Garcia had people like that. Ten months and Trinity could count on one hand the things she actually knew about Garcia's life outside of her apartment. She'd never asked. Hadn't wanted to know, she had told herself. Casual. Clean.

“You look like you got everything you wanted,” Trinity had said to her once, her skin glowing orange in the warm light of Yolanda’s bedroom.
Yolanda had only smirked, taken Trinity’s hand in hers and licked her fingers clean.
She should have said it then. Should have told her the truth. No, Trinity. No, Yolanda tells her now. She thinks of being halved then doubled, of being two things at once and still wanting more than you should. She thinks of swallowing spoiled meat and pretending it doesn’t sour everything inside of you.

Yolanda hesitates.
