“Well, it’s you.” Mammon uttered softly to not startle him even more. When Lucifer’s shoulders began shaking, he immediately knew he had to act upon it. “Us, I mean us. I’m going with you.”
“You… will?” he parroted, surprised.

The couple was walking through a park with one another. There was some lamppost lighting their way as they walked. There were sweet nothings whispered, and bits of small talk. It was absurd the two that knew each other so well used small talk to discuss things with one another. There were trivial tales from both realms they could share, but Lucifer never liked talking about home much - it reminded him of his betrayal. He shouldn’t be fraternizing with a demon… even so, he couldn’t help himself. Even if it would bring disaster, his heart told him it was worth it. What did he have to lose? Everything appeared to be so perfect.
