Summary
Essek's heart jumped. Making him a comforting meal was a sweet gesture, but having Molly bring it to him while he laid in bed like, a- a spoiled prince,....It would be terribly selfish of him to accept that, wouldn't it? Cheeks and ears burning, he tried to protest. But, Molly just shushed and tutted away his objections. In the blink of an eye, he found himself tucked into bed resting against a mound of pillows.
-----Essek comes down with a fever. He doesn't want to take too much, but Molly is having none of it.

Summary
Essek was stolen away by Ludinus. The Mighty Nein bring him back. Physically, he is on the mend. Mentally, he has yet to return to them. They know how to cure curses, but this one has its claws deep into Essek’s mind, resisting Greater Restoration.
Caleb struggles with regrets and things left unsaid, but he and the rest of the Nein refuse to give up on Essek.

Pippin turned to Gandalf, caught by this new idea. “Can you make me into a hobbit-sized weasel?”
“For mercy's sake,” said Gandalf.
In which Pippin has approximately sixty uninterrupted leagues to find out everything that can be found out from Gandalf and gets approximately sixty times more than he bargained for.

As they tarry for a time in Lothlórien, a passing thought leads to the Fellowship spending a night sharing spectral stories around a campfire. The bonds between them are still newly-forged, but through this exchange of tales, common ground might yet be found.

The Fellowship of the Ring gets to know each other (and each other's cultures) better through the unexpected medium of ghost stories. Expect an Attempt at emulating Tolkien's prose & style as well as copious cameos/name drops/references to Legendarium lore of varying obscurity. There's a ghost story from the people of every one of the Nine Walkers in here! (Save Gandalf. Sorry buddy, but you're currently a little occupied having your dramatic resurrection at the moment.
