Summary
The lights had been dimmed in the kitchen where Shane bounced on the balls of his feet as he waited for the microwave to beep. Inside was a microwavable plush Snoopy that Ilya had gifted Shane last Christmas. Heating the plush up had quickly enmeshed into part of Shane's bedtime routine. Skincare, brush his teeth, microwave Snoopy, read for half an hour, then sleep. The weight of the cuddle toy on Shane's chest, Ilya's arm around his waist, and the warmth from both were comforts Shane never wanted to go to bed without ever again.
The familiar steps of Ilya broke Shane's concentration on the microwave. Shane turned his head right as Ilya wrapped his arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. Ilya hooked his chin over Shane's shoulder to speak in his ear. "Warming up your puppy?"
Shane felt his cheeks flare hot. "Shut up," he grumbled. "You bought him for me."

When the kings of Greece come to conscript Odysseus for the Trojan War, Penelope of Ithaca knows one thing: she will not lose her husband to war, and she will not let her son be used to take him. In a desperate attempt to save her family, Penelope offers herself to the war effort in Odysseus's place.
Penelope is whisked away to Troy with her army, and a devastated Odysseus is left to raise his infant son alone. Even when the war ends, their trials do not. Penelope faces gods and monsters while Odysseus struggles to rule Ithaca and protect himself and his son from the malevolent suitors seeking his hand.
Essentially, the plot of EPIC, but Penelope and Odysseus's places are switched, and the Ithaca side of the plot is quite a bit darker.

So he winds his fist once more, belting it straight back down onto the same place as the first time. He can feel the way a vein bulged on his forehead, just as he could feel the rush of strangled breath dance warmly over his balled up knuckles as they made contact for the second time.

Janka college au where Zanka is burnt out and hanging on by a thread when Jabber fucking Wonger explodes into his life, getting under his skin from the very first second they meet at a party.. one Zanka begrudgingly attended too. Somehow, Jabber wedges himself into Zanka’s already overcrowded head, annoyingly impossible to ignore. Zanka feels the overwhelming urge to either beat the shit out of him or pick up his charcoals and draw for the first time in months. Honestly, he’s leaning toward both.
Can Zanka and Jabber balance each other out, or are they doomed to keep butting heads?
