Summary
For as long as he can remember, Ren has been fascinated by the Eclipse Era of yore. Having grown up on the fantastical myths and other-worldly tales of Dragon Envoys, his entire life has seemed to revolve around the ancient era that beckons and calls him, always just out of reach.
For as long as he can remember, Dan Heng's life has been bloodshed and betrayal. Burdened with a painful promise and a hopeless mission, all he wants now is to be free, a wish that can never truly be granted.
But fate is forever cruel and twisted as it throws Ren in Dan Heng's path once more. In a collision of past and present with a looming threat on the horizon, neither can escape this cycle of woe without the greatest sacrifice.

It never said anything about Dan Heng losing his sight.
