Summary
Hinata's acting strange.
Kageyama always relied on Hinata to do the conversations, with him gladly responding back, because he doesn't know what to say or doesn't know if he can rely on himself to make a decent conversation without making the atmosphere awkward.
Kageyama looks to his right towards where Hinata is walking slowly. He immediately notices his downcast face and his steps were slightly slower than usual.
He's upset. He's upset about something.

Hinata's eyes follow the movement of hands tugging off a probably sweaty tank top, then the slight wiggle of nice-looking hips as black shorts are slipped off. The guy definitely has a nice body; his back and arms are muscular and his backside is definitely worth looking at. He has a hot neighbour and Hinata can feel his boredom fading away. His eyes move back up to the other's face as he turns around, and Hinata's eyes widen in shock because is that Kageyama? It must be a coincidence or some long-lost twin because Kageyama's college isn't near here.

So. Now Hinata is under Kageyama’s arm, only a few centimeters away from the other boy’s face, and he has that intense itch in his skin again that screams at him like he’s about to step onto court. Anticipation and excitement and fear all at once, and although Hinata knows he’s not the strongest spike on the team he’s never been an idiot, and he knows what this means, for his heart to be almost exploding being so close to Kageyama’s eyes and lips and hair and weird stupid handsome face.
He’s hopelessly in love with Kageyama Tobio.
And Kageyama doesn’t even know it.
