Summary
It has been just under a year since Will’s becoming and Hannibal’s escape, and Hannibal is very happy with what they have. Will knows him better than anyone ever has, his acceptance yet to falter, even morphing into genuine enjoyment on their hunts together. It is everything he had ever hoped for, everything he had wished for through all his lonely nights in the BSHCI. Indeed, the only parts of himself which he has not revealed to Will are the parts that he himself has trouble accepting, the parts that are just plain ugly and sad, the parts he has been unable to morph into something monstrous but beautiful all the same.
Luckily, those few parts are small and able to be shoved away to the farthest corners of his memory palace, where they remain hidden and insignificant in perpetuity.
Except for when they don’t.

Summary
As they are recovering from the aftermath of their fall into the Atlantic and the start of their new life together, Will takes note of a pattern of strange, brief aberrations in Hannibal's behavior. Moments—usually anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes—when Hannibal becomes… different. Quieter, more shy, clingy.
Though they intrigue him from the start, it isn't until months later that Will comes to realize what those moments signify.

Summary
Post-fall, Hannibal struggles to deal with an influx of nightmares. Concerned, and with Hannibal refusing to acknowledge the issue with more than a passing comment, Will is forced to take matters into his own hands.
"It was like Will was living with two different Hannibals. Two different Hannibals, and neither of them were doing very well.
Will was concerned.
Concerned because Hannibal wasn’t sleeping, concerned because he wasn’t healing, concerned because it seemed as though Hannibal had suffered some kind of mental break, to the point that daytime-Hannibal wasn’t even aware of nighttime-Hannibal’s existence.
As another week passed without change, Will began to fear that some of this could be permanent. If he could just get nighttime-Hannibal to get some more sleep (because daytime-Hannibal absolutely refused to nap, no matter how tired he was), maybe then he could begin to recover."

Summary

Summary
The first petals appeared mere days after Hannibal had received the news of Will’s marriage.
Alana had been the one to tell him, looking insufferably smug, not even trying to pretend that she didn’t enjoy seeing the brief flicker of jealousy and grief on Hannibal’s face before he got his placid mask back in place.
Though the abrupt delivery of this news had caught Hannibal off-guard, the news itself wasn’t completely unexpected—Hannibal had yet to receive any correspondence from Will since he had surrendered. Clearly, Will was determined to play the losing game of denying himself his true nature for as long as he possibly could.
But that was fine. Will could play house, could put together his apple pie family with no place for Hannibal in it, for as long as he wanted. Hannibal could wait. He would wait months, years, decades if that’s what it took. Will would come crawling back to him eventually, Hannibal was certain—it was just a matter of waiting him out.
So no, the news of Will’s marriage had not surprised him.
The petals did, though.

Summary
The arrival at Erid is a momentous occasion. Rocky is excited and thrilled. Ryland is overwhelmed. But the reunion is happy, beautiful, amazing.
Or that's what it should have been. Except Rocky gets hurt, Ryland is left to try and communicate with an alien planet, and everyone is scrambling to figure out how to do this. To Grace, this is incredible but also bittersweet - he got Rocky home safely with the taumoeba, now he just gets... to starve. To Erid, this is insane - how did Rocky show up in an alien spaceship with a child???
...
Ryland Grace is stuck trying to speak Eridian, immediately makes himself sound like a child, and Rocky's world and family scramble to help this strange pebble. Misunderstandings galore, alongside hurt/comfort and angst and fluff.

“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Summary
Grace is too late rescuing Rocky. When he finds the Blip-A again, Rocky is already gone, so Grace does the only thing he can think of, and he takes Taumeoba-82.5 to Erid himself. If he can't save Rocky, well, he might as well make sure his death wasn't in vain.
He's sick, starving, and has no Eridian native to introduce him, but he's going to save Rocky's planet no matter what. After that... he supposes all that's left is for him to die. He's nearly out of food and Yao's gun is still tucked away safely in the Hail Mary's storage.
