Cliff sighs and dares not to meet Ilya’s eyes.
“The other day, when you and Hollander were talking shit to each other. I don’t know. It was sweet. I’ve never seen Hollander act like that with anyone.”
Ilya waits for him to continue, cogs turning and creaking in his brain as more silence passes by them. He snaps his head towards Cliff, who looks away. It’s almost endearing to see his boisterous friend shy like this - it would be, if it weren’t over his Shane.
“You…you want to fuck Hollander?”

After a run down as to how things will proceed with Ilya now having a new PR manager, which he definitely didn’t listen to, Shane offers a polite smile to the musician.
“I’m looking forward to working with you,” Shane says.
Ah. This is bad.
Ilya needs him.
Four times Ilya’s attempts in getting closer with Shane, his PR manager, were a success + the one time his win was much bigger without even intending it to be.
