Summary
Frankenstein really just radiates that kind of cool, charismatic energy, clearly both smart and kind. Raizel feels a little out of his depth, floundering for what to say next. His social skills have always been severely lacking, no matter how hard he practiced or how many hours he spent in occupational therapy. But his heart is full of the desire to make a connection. He decides it's time for his second-favorite trick. “Tell me more.”
“Oh, about the pre-med program? Haha, well, I’m sure you’ve heard about it. My concentration is in biochemistry. I think there are a lot of different applications, specifically in medical research…” Frankenstein continues to talk happily about things that Raizel doesn’t really understand. Quite pleased, Raizel listens attentively and participates with the occasional hum or nod to show his contentment with and enjoyment of social activities, and by extension, Frankenstein.

Raizel hits it off with the handsome blond barista at the campus café.

Summary
Frankenstein cuts a slice of vanilla cake and puts it on a small plate, delicately setting a fork next to it. “I made this last night,” he mentions absently.
“You had a nightmare last night,” interprets Raizel. Correctly, Frankenstein has to add.
It’s an old habit of his. He considers it one of his least harmful ones. Nights where Dark Spear’s visions and his memories would play on repeat, every horror he’d ever experienced coming back to the surface, leaving him shaking and ill… he’d get up, unable to stay in place, and drown his feelings in the process of mixing sugar and flour.
