It’s all his fault, anyway—if Zoro cared so much, he wouldn’t have done all that. Wouldn’t have—have kissed Sanji. Like a lunatic. Making Sanji think about Zoro. “I’m sleeping fine, mosshead.” Think about Zoro looking at him. “Fantastic, even.” About Zoro, leaning in. “I’ve never slept better.” Zoro, saying, Thanks for bringing me back, cook.

    The teacup slips from his hand into the sink, and he curses, breathing out a sigh of relief when he picks it up and doesn’t find any chips, any cracks. He rinses it and sets it down on the rack, takes the gloves off, and turns around so he can say, calm, “No trouble here.”

    Zoro’s watching him, unblinking. Brook takes a long, loud sip of tea.
