Scott's not normally one to speak just for the sake of it, but genuine and entirely positive reactions to the scariest and best thing he's ever done are pretty few and far between, and he kind of wants to hold onto it. This weird little connection he now has to Ilya Rozanov.
I came out as gay and you were nice to me about it when you didn't have to be. When a lot of people weren't. A lot of people I would've called friends not too long ago.

Summary
“Uh,” he says, looking up from his screen and feeling his ears go hot, realizing for the first time that this habit of his hasn’t actually come up before until this exact moment.
“What?” Rozanov asks, sounding more amused than anything else. “You are one of the people who does Instagram for food now?”
“No,” Shane says, stalling between answering and finishing his Snap so he can send it to Melissa, “one sec.” He finishes typing out 'Tuna melt. Chips. Pickles. It smells really good. Swiss cheese, I think.' before he looks back to Rozanov, putting his phone facedown on the coffee table. “Just sending it to someone on the staff. She likes knowing what I’m eating.”
He doesn’t know if Melissa likes knowing what he’s eating, per se, but she also seems pleased when he talks about enjoying food for things beyond how many grams of protein it has in it.
“Ah,” Rozanov says, in a tone Shane can’t quite read. “You always send her your food then, this girl?”
(shane has a habit of sending his team's dietician his meals for approval) (the problem with this habit? he forgets to tell ilya exactly what it is that melissa does) (how the tuna meltdown is AVERTED through the power of miscommunication)

It was no secret that Ilya had been the bane of his father’s existence since the moment he was conceived. Finally presenting as an alpha was supposed to fix everything, to make Ilya worthy of being the king's son, but the only thing it ended up accomplishing was setting in motion the downfall of King Grigori Rozanov, all because he went and ripped a nameless omega off of Ilya's knot, mid-rut.

When he emerged from the throne room, he looked to the side of the heavy doors, where Boodram stood guard. Boodram glanced down at the blood covering Ilya from head to toe, then at the severed head in Ilya’s hands and nodded once. “The remaining palace-goers are gathered in the main foyer,” he reported. “There were a few casualties. None from our side. We were forced to put down a few alphas who fought back.”
Ilya began walking the familiar hallways, towards the sound of a confused crowd, the smell of fear permeating the air even from where they were.
“Let us hope that they were not the ones with knowledge of where Shane Hollander is being kept from me,” he murmured. “Or there will be hell to pay.”

Summary
When Steve woke up in 1983 after dying in 1986, he had a few goals. Make Nancy Wheeler fall in love with him. Get into college. Save his friends. Save the world. Etc.
All this should have been easy, since he’s lived it before… right? Wrong.
Now, in spring 1985, Nancy Wheeler is very much not in love with him; Steve has been anxiously awaiting an admission decision from Indiana University; Tommy and Barb have been dead for months; and Jonathan Byers has started having bad, bad dreams.
Steve is just as confused as ever. (In more ways than one, thanks to Eddie Munson and whatever it is that they’ve got going on.)
