“Sure. I mean, why not?” Sunghoon casually shrugs like it's no big deal, like the answer was always an obvious yes.
(Or: The many, many instances in which Jay was too blind (figuratively and literally) to realize that the number one hero in all of Metropolis was his sexy, nerdy coworker).

When it comes out of his mouth, a wave of mortification washes over Kim Dokja. A huge wave of regret.
Fuck. His boss is going to kill him. His boss is going to gut him open, before throwing his remains down into the Han River. His boss is actually going to murder him in cold blood. Unwillingly, he looks towards Yoo Joonghyuk’s face.
But… Yoo Joonghyuk’s gaze… doesn’t look murderous… at all?
Kim Dokja blinks. Is his heat affecting his vision?
“Since you’re asking so nicely,” Yoo Joonghyuk murmurs, “I’ll give you what you need, Kim Dokja.”
Kim Dokja goes into heat. Right in his boss’s vicinity. It goes as well as you’d expect.

Let it be known that if it wasn’t for Sunoo’s lovely, puppy-dog-eyed bleeding heart of a boyfriend, he would have been completely willing to let Jay and Sunghoon bumble around and wake up at 2 AM in cold sweat, five years down the line, with the realization that they (a) are not straight and (b) had been stupidly into each other.
