Summary
Sakura was willing to do everything it took to keep her sense of balance.
No matter the cost, be it sleep or restriction, Sakura was willing to consider anything and everything before her until it was broken down into its barest essentials to ensure it only ever fulfilled her and her future dreams. It took guts, it took energy, and it took a damn huge amount of discipline, but just when she was at reach for her goals she felt herself slip and fall from the heavens.
Tired and trying to make sense of the world anew, she finds answers where she least expected it: In hands intertwined with her captor as they race the sands of time to try and save a life.

Summary
Torn, confused, and left to find for herself what love means, Sakura ended the night of the festival in tears as her supposed beloved tried to coerce her away into unspeakable acts she'd rather do without. Aching for new comforts, and trying to soothe over her wounds, she finds the least expected person to welcome her into his arms- one that would bring trials and tribulations that threatens the very core values of the village itself.
But as the pressure grows, her own mind starts to shatter as she begins to question everything around her. Cast aside as a clanless shinobi, Sakura suffers in the dark as questions rise that become harder to answer.
Determined to go through with her head up high, Sakura slowly casts aside the innocent little girl that still lived within her heart to make space for someone new, someone better, someone stronger. Someone Sasuke Uchiha can never harm again.

These chapters are uploaded for transparency and to keep the OG timeline, despite there only being two chapters in it before I unfortunately experienced writer's block and was unable to keep it up.
"Bedpost, Alternate Chapters" may include small additions that were going to be added to the OG plot, but don't put your hopes up *too* much on that.

Summary
