Summary
The world keeps pushing him, demanding, because what he did wasn't enough. Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, but that wasn't enough, wasn't ever enough.
Tony Stark was tired. But he had a planet to protect, even if everyone laughed at him whenever the prospect of alien invasions was brought up. He could count on one hand how many people he could trust, which was disheartening but then, what else was new?
Or,
In which Tony does not, in fact, intend to take over the world.
...unfortunately, everyone else missed that particular memo.
[gradual divergence from canon, starting at the end of Iron Man 3. In which it's Tony's self-awareness, rather than his support system, that becomes a cryptid sometime during Phase II.]

Summary
15 years after the ban on supers, each have been relocated. Not across the country, but to a secluded island with the help of the narcissistic hero Gamma Jack—who had refused to go into hiding. Nobody knows exactly how, but the government had agreed to allow the supers complete seclusion on an island within the Pacific.
There, those with the super gene live their own lives. Old heroes have long since birthed new ones and with no restrictions or secret identities, supers have thrived.
Though it does leave some wondering—Why have no normal people attempted to visit? And why hasn't anyone left?

Summary
Alistair Ar Fiona O Ramhold was meant to become a Warden like his mother. His father was some lowlander lord with an heir, so his mother's friend brought him to the Avvar to learn the ways of war before joining the Grey.
Mara Cousland is the youngest scion of a noble family betrayed. Escaping from the fall of Castle Cousland, she fled to Ostagar in search of the king's justice.
Neither of them expected to get married - at least to each other. Throw in a Blight and a civil war and you have a recipe for disaster... or a romantic story for the ages.

Summary
From the time of the Andals arrival in Westeros, and the beginning of knighthood in the kingdoms, it is a well-kept tradition for knights to not only swear their oath to the seven, but to preserve a record of the great feats of their own master and his predecessors by way of adding in lines. As such, the lineage of knight to squire is preserved through the memorization and passing of these vows, and while the words are kept secret from all but their own cohort, knights who share the same oathkeeping lineage...
... There are only a handful of famed chivalric lineages that are confirmed to still exist today, most notable amongst them is the oath taken by the Dragonknight Ser Aemon Targaryen, currently preserved by his three known squires, King Daeron Targaryen the Second, his son Prince Baelor Targaryen, and Ser Robyn Rhysling. As with most lineages, it is likely there are other knights within the cohort , but those names have since been lost to time.
