Summary
The exorcism promised to be simple enough. A wealthy family hired Matoba to investigate a haunted mansion in order for them to purchase it, for old blood money to be replaced by new. But when he discovers they hired another exorcist to accompany him in the insulting presumption that he could possibly fail, the job becomes significantly more complicated.
Well. It isn’t like he hasn’t worked with Natori before. Things may have deteriorated between them from how they used to be, but they are still capable of bare minimum cooperation, hidden behind a thin lacquer of sugar-coated barbs and provocation. In the end, this shouldn’t be any different.
