This is a collection of HFR WIPs that I'm never gonna finish, so I figured I may as well just post 'em as is. Feel free to take any of them and do something with them yourself if they inspire or otherwise interest you!

Summary
The helicopter crashes (because of fucking course it does), leaving Akechi and Amamiya stranded. With the latter badly injured and no other way out of Tokyo, Akechi only has one option remaining: destroy the meteor that caused this mess in the first place.
This isn't really about that, though. This is the conversation the two of them had in the midst of the wreckage, before Akechi left.

Simon glares viciously at the poor excuse of a knot. It’s not the boot’s fault, he knows that. He’s glaring because he has no other option than the one currently at his disposal, and it’s an option he despises with every piece of his wretched heart. But the sun is climbing higher and he needs to get outside to check on the garden. He grits his teeth and forces the words out.
“Can you…help me with something?”
