Jaskier has always dreamed about meeting his soulmate, except when it finally happens, it's not at all what he expected.

Summary
Here goes nothing.
He holds his breath as he climbs out the window. The rope goes taut. The sheets hold. Lambert exhales. Then he begins the slow descent to the ground.
“Well this is unexpected.”
The voice takes Lambert completely by surprise, making him flinch and almost lose his grip. His head snaps in the direction of the sound only to discover another man grasping his own bed sheet rope strung out the adjacent window.
