Summary
Mihawk and Shanks see their boys off to university, and will have to contend with empty nests. Mihawk doesn't particularly like Shanks, but they have an allyship of dozens of visits to principal offices over the years to bail their idiot sons out of trouble.
So perhaps a final drink together would not be unreasonable.
A second is warranted when reminiscing about escapades. By the fourth, Mihawk realizes that Shanks is actually quite attractive, and company that night would beat the quiet of an empty apartment.
Mihawk learns they have more in common than their boys, and perhaps Shanks is tolerable after all.

Summary
Eddie Diaz is on what is possibly the worst date of all time. A tall blue eyed stranger saves him from his predicament.

Eddie's about to stand up from the table—to simply get the hell out of there, and wait on his Uber out of sight—when something unexpected happens. His people-watching-subject is now approaching the table, no longer sat at the bar.
"What the hell?" The man's piercing blue eyes are fixed on him.
Eddie goes tense, a nervous laugh bubbling out of him. He catches the mischievous quirk of the other mans mouth though and isn't sure what he's in for.
"And who the hell is this?" Blue Eyes whips around to face Eddie's date, eyebrow set in a firm line. Eddie wonders if he's a model or something in his free time. This was LA after all. Eddie makes a mental note to ask him if he's a model.
"E-ethan?"
"Are you sure about that E-e-ethan?" Blue-Eye's crowds into his area and sticks a finger in his chest.

Summary
When Eddie told Buck that he would become Chris’s legal guardian if something happened to him, they’d both assumed that it was just as a precaution.
Eddie is called in to a short military mission, Buck steps into his role as Chris's guardian. It was only supposed to be two weeks and Eddie's assignment was only to identify a person on sight. It shouldn't have been dangerous. Eddie should have been okay.
So why did a uniformed officer show up with a box and a flag on Eddie's doorstep?
