It's time for more desperate measures. Perhaps resourcing one of the counselors - as she had watched so many do before - will prove benign. Looks like it's time to save the sole survivor.)
Dylan wakes up in a blind panic, kicking out and falling backward off of the log bench he's sitting on. Maybe it's a bit dramatic, but in his defense, he was just being pinned down in the kitchen, about to get his throat torn out by a goddamn werewolf. Sue him for startling.

Dude this is really good???? Like really good???? Like REALLY good?????
It's got some AMAZING characters, and some great writing. The world building is really cool too-- the central mystery unfolds in a really organic way, and each chapter fits really nicely into the whole. I've never played the game this is based off of, so you'll probably be fine-- though you may be a bit confused in the beginning.
But this is lit! Perfect for when you need something to hurt you.
has a number of great female characters, too, though none of them are POV as that stays with Dylan.6/5/24: Rest in peace, Moth. You brought light to my life, a smile to my face-- your work was incredible and I'll miss its presence on my dashboard. I used to reread the whole fic every time a new chapter came out. It's... sad, to know that this reread will be the last one. I'll keep this story with me always.
