A writing experiment born from a single joke - that devolved into madness.
Partial writing exercise, partial exploration of: what a world would look like if Percy, as a boy, gave a grieving goddess a flower?
Dropped in media res, and taking place (Primarily) during the Titan's Curse - an exploration of the nature of divinity, love, romance, style, and many late nights.
NOTE: The chapters do follow chronologically, but there is gaps in it by design- mainly hitting on important plot beats for a broader feel and to test different styles and structures of writing. I will also be posting passages of the original notes I wrote that take place before the Titan's Curse - if only to explore and gain feedback on characterization.
A love letter to Rick Riordan's work, for inspiring millions to study myths. A deconstruction of the story, from a mythological and philosophical lens. Feedback is welcome, and in fact, encouraged.
Updated Note: Time makes us fonder - and so too does love make us weaker. So, in an endeavor to be better - I say, let us be better. For truth - what does it mean to love something? So in truth, let us be free - Aye, aye; let it be free.
