Clint's not thrilled to get stuck on babysitting duty, and Bruce would be glad to get rid of his guard, but for now, they're both determined to make the best of a bad situation. Somehow, two guys who didn't expect to have much in common end up learning to trust each other.

When their attempts to recreate the super soldier serum failed, Hydra started trying to breed Captain America clones from his genetic samples. Unfortunately, the serum's effects aren't passed down genetically, so instead of an army of tiny Captain Americas, they get a bunch of tow-headed, asthmatic, allergic, immuno-compromised little Steves.
And then the Winter Soldier stumbles across Hydra's failed experiment...

Another "Cheaper by the Dozen" Steve-clones story, this time with nine surviving kids. Good after-rescue exploration of Bucky's wish to be erased again -- a tear-jerker. Would be even better with more Bucky-recovery description, but that's not really what the story is supposed to be about.
